Valentine's Day is just around the corner! Us girls love getting chocolate, roses and cards but let's be honest : the same presents every year can get boring. Yes, it's the thought that counts but if you're in the mood to spoil your girl this Valentine's Day and don't know what to get her...say no more! Sorry I haven't been posting lately but it's a pretty busy week. AP classes are no joke but you have to get through it. So just recently, I was asked about what college i'm going to and I saw my transcript... my overall gpa is not horrible but I know I could have done better 8th and 9th grade. When you're young, you really don't care about your grades but trust me, they will haunt you in the future. I remember when I was young, I wanted to go to Yale so badly. Now, it's probably not going to be on my lists for colleges. I decided that I don't want to go out of state. I get homesick easily so that's not a good idea. So far the colleges I had in mind were NYU, Stony Brook, John Jay, and especially Hofstra. The thing that I love the most about Hoftra is their cheerleading team (I know). They also have forensics and a lot of other science programs. My major is science, so it's only logical that I look into that college. I do love criminal justice so John Jay looks nice. Well besides that, I'm so happy that I finished my book report! It haunted me constantly. Now I can enjoy my weekend. Hope you guys have a good weekend! - Sin

I need you guys to be that teacher right now! This is my mantra for working out. A mantra is a motivational quote. Hey guys! So I went to Ulta today and I found these amazing little lip creams by Nyx and well... I was in love! It's the Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream. They cost like $6 so they won't put a hole in your pocket at all (unless you want to get the Transylvania and Copenhagen shades which are like $20 online since they're rare). They're softer than other lip products of course and the shade is right on point.
Told you guys that I would share my way of getting fit. One of these was is by a personal instructor on youtube. The channel name is called Blogilates. I know what most of you are thinking - "Oh it's just pilates. How will that help me? It's only for girls, that doesn't help at all" I'm here to tell you that it's not. Anyone can try it if they really want to. The instructor's name is Cassey Ho, and she has been teaching pilates for over 9 years. Her videos will kill you! On her site, blogilates.com, she has a free meal plan, workout calendar, printables, recipes, and anything you could possibly imagine a fitness trainer would have. She will definitely tighten your core and build some muscle - all at home! The only thing I will say is that you have to do some type of cardio like running, using the bicycle, elliptical, etc. She's not much of a fan of cardio. She even has her own app! Another app I downloaded is called PumpUp. That app is amazing! It has exercises that could be done at home and at the gym. I encourage you guys to try them!
Hey guys! I decided that my second post should be about TV series. We are all addicted to at least one show and for me - I'm addicted to more than just one! Recently, I heard about this show called "Once Upon A Time". Once I started watching it, I couldn't stop! Yes, it is about fairytales. But the fairytale characters are sent to our world to live in a small, hidden town. All of the characters you can imagine from Disney movies are there, and other characters from other stories. I don't want to spoil anything but if you like shows like that, you'll love this one. Other of my fav shows are : The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, The Originals, Keeping Up With The Kardashians ( yes, I know but it's addicting) and my other new fav : Modern Family. No one ever cared about their weight and/or their appearance when they were younger. But there comes a point in life when you decide that you want to change and get fit. Not everyone feels that way, and that's great. But the ones who do whatever it takes to get fit never quit. I started working out when I was 14. I was not as worried about my weight or appearance until I realized that my weight gain was causing me health problems. I was a big chested, non-curvy girl. All my weight was in my chest and that affected my back and knee greatly. I didn't feel good at all; I felt like everyone always pointed out my big chest and well, who wants that ? So then, I decided to start my journey.
