No one ever cared about their weight and/or their appearance when they were younger. But there comes a point in life when you decide that you want to change and get fit. Not everyone feels that way, and that's great. But the ones who do whatever it takes to get fit never quit. I started working out when I was 14. I was not as worried about my weight or appearance until I realized that my weight gain was causing me health problems. I was a big chested, non-curvy girl. All my weight was in my chest and that affected my back and knee greatly. I didn't feel good at all; I felt like everyone always pointed out my big chest and well, who wants that ? So then, I decided to start my journey.
I use the treadmill occasionally, and joined track. I was on a softball team but that did not help me lose much weight. Due to an injury, I had to stop track and rest. Then, I found this online personal trainer, whom I will share to you guys later. Her fitness videos helped me lose more weight and also helped me run better. My back problem improved and I lost 10 pounds. It's not much but it's something. Last year, I began to take fitness seriously, but not a good diet. The main reason as to why I have not lost much weight is due to the fact that I ate so much junk food. I was gaining muscles too but the junk food kept my weight stable. Just recently, I decided to get rid of my bad eating habits and pursue better ones. I do all kinds of exercise, and now I am close to reaching my goal. I began including more cardio into my workouts.
